    Rosamond Gilden

    Rosamond Gilden is a Senior Implementation and Evaluation Project Officer for the SA Aboriginal Chronic Disease Consortium and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Diabetes-related Foot Complications Program within the Wardliparingga team.

    Rosamond graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, Masters of Orthoptics and Masters of Public Health. Upon graduating from orthoptics, Rosamond worked in the private and public centre. She then transitioned into research, working on the first National Eye Health Survey at the Centre for Eye Research Australia and then worked with Indigenous Eye Health Unit based at the University of Melbourne – where she played a key role in supporting the implementation of the Roadmap to Close the Gap for Vision. Rosamond continues her work in eye health. She is the current Chair of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Committee for Orthoptics Australia and the DR-NET Regional Coordinator for the South Pacific Region.
