The Light Microscopy and Laser Capture Core Facility at SAHMRI was established in 2014. Five light microscope instruments and a laser capture instrument are available in the Facility.

The Facility is available for use by SAHMRI and its partners, by external academic and commercial users. The Facility Manger is available for consultation for projects and experiments involving the use of these instruments.

The Facility Manager is available on Mondays and Fridays on site. Please leave a message on his email on other days of the week.

Please contact the Facility Manager to arrange for your slide submission. Usually users submit slides and portable storage device either in person when the Facility Manager is on site (Mondays and Fridays), deposit them in the designated submission area or leave them with the Front Desk. Please notify the Facility Manager via email if you left your slides and portable storage device at the designated submission area or with the Front Desk.
