The Histology facility at SAHMRI North Terrace provides and maintains bookable equipment for our researchers, staff, and students. The facility also provides training, equipping users with the skills and support to conduct their own work in the laboratory.
Those who wish to use the laboratory must undergo a safety induction, training, and competency assessment for each equipment they require. Once completed, they may book through our online system ACLS and use the equipment autonomously – please refer to the Equipment List for more information and current booking rates.

FAQs
A histology service is not available, instead researchers receive training on equipment then undertake their own work in this area. If you are interested in having the work done for you as a service, please contact the Research Support Officer who will be able to recommend one.
