Nikon Eclipse Ci-L Double-headed Teaching Microscope

The Nikon Ci-L is primarily used to check the quality of microtome/cryostat sections and staining results. It is fitted with 4X, 10X, and 100X objectives, with immersion oil supplied for use with the 100X objective only. This microscope is also equipped with a second set of binoculars and an illuminated pointer tool which allows the primary user to clearly identify an area, cell, or structure and show it to a second observer, making it particularly useful for teaching applications.
This microscope may be required by multiple researchers in the laboratory, so it is not bookable on ACLS. If you require image capture or exclusive use of a microscope, please contact the Research Support Officer.
