SAHMRI's Healthier Futures Series brings together South Australia’s brightest minds and passionate advocates for health and medical research.
Our next event is all about Chronic Pain. It's insidious, unrelenting, and life-altering. And it affects around 20% of Australian adults, with no effective treatments. But that could change thanks to the efforts of SAHMRI researchers.

From altering how pain signals are sent around the body using new treatments from creepy crawly sources, to how our brain combines and interprets the signals everyday, our researchers are completely reframing pain.
