Make your contribution to life-saving research
Volunteer with SAHMRI

Support South Australia’s flagship health and medical research institute by giving your time.

As a not-for-profit organisation, SAHMRI relies on the support of our community to find solutions to the world’s greatest health challenges. There are many ways you can contribute, including making a donation, participating in clinical trials, and volunteering your time.

Volunteering is a great way to meet like-minded people, learn new skills, gain work experience, and contribute to life-saving research to deliver a brighter future for people everywhere. And have some fun along the way!

BRIGHT Walk 2023

There are a wide range of volunteer roles, both on the night of the walk and in the lead-up. These include greeting participants before the walk and cheering them at the finish line, looking after refreshment and first aid stations, directing walkers along the route or packing merchandise kits for walkers before the event.
