The EASE-Stroke Study

Investigating access to long-term community support for older Australians post-stroke

The EASE-Stroke Study
Project Status: In progress
Project administered by: SAHMRI

This project will build an evidence base to improve equity of access to long-term support services for all older Australians post stroke.

Following stroke, older Australians rely on long-term support delivered through primary care and aged care.

However, the use of these long-term community support services and factors which may impact access to services, has not been previously investigated. This project will address these gaps to ultimately reduce inequity in service provision and improve health outcomes for older Australians post-stroke.
