Improving the Quality of Aged Care through Real-World Data

Harnessing Real-World Data to Drive High Quality Care for Australia's Aged Care Population

Improving the Quality of Aged Care through Real-World Data
Project Status: In progress
Project administered by: University of South Australia

This project will utilise real-world data from ROSA to generate internationally relevant evidence to drive improvements in clinical practice, national aged care policy and reforms through monitoring of care quality and medicines management.

It will generate evidence on best practices to deliver high quality person-centred care, including monitoring care quality to promote accountability and equity, identifying optimal medicines management, delivering integrated care and optimal workforce requirements.

This will contribute to the improved health and well-being of older Australians receiving aged cares services and support transformation of our aged care system to one built on high quality evidence, transparency, care, dignity and respect.

This project is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council
