Renae Walker

Renae’s family is from Cherbourg in Queensland which is the traditional lands of the Wakka Wakka People. She had currently been working for the Department for Education since 2008 in multiple Preschool, Schools, Children’s Centres and for Aboriginal Education. Renae is passionate in working towards the best health, wellbeing and Education outcomes for Aboriginal children and their families.

Renae joined the Aboriginal Communities and Families Health Research Alliance (ACRA) in 2021 as a Project Coordinator working the Corka bubs, Deadly mums and Strong families project helping Aboriginal mums, dads and families understand the impacts of Stress, Alcohol and Yarndi usage during pregnancy.
