Cedric Bardy is an Associate Professor at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and Flinders University in Australia.

Cedric's research focuses on advancing stem cell biotechnologies to understand and cure neurological disorders. In particular, he is the inventor of BrainPhys; a neuronal medium broadly used to culture human neurons in vitro.

Cedric grew up in the South of France and obtained a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2008. He pursued his postdoctoral training at the Pasteur Institute (2008-2010) and the Salk Institute (2011-2016). He currently leads the Laboratory for Human Neurophysiology and Genetics.
