My research involves the use of non-invasive neuroimaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) to investigate changes in brain structure and function that underlie cognitive decline in normal ageing, and in diseases causing dementia or cognitive impairment. The aim of this work is to provide novel targets for dementia diagnosis, prevention and treatment, and improve methods for measuring the anatomy and physiology of the brain.
