    Jaameeta Kurji

    Dr. Jaameeta Kurji (MPH, PhD) is a postdoctoral fellow on the National Roadmap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Adolescent Health Project in the Adolescent Health and Wellbeing Platform within Wardliparingga Aboriginal Health Equity Theme at SAHMRI. Dr. Kurji is providing leadership and support in the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data on the Roadmap Project.

    Dr. Kurji is an Epidemiologist specializing in health services research. Prior to joining SAHMRI she conducted research in low-and middle income countries in Africa and Asia exploring service quality and access among rural populations, particularly young women and children. She has experience in designing, implementing and evaluating complex health interventions. Dr. Kurji employs a variety of methods including longitudinal analyses, mixed methods and spatial analyses.
