Engaging Consumers
In 2024–2025, The SAHMRI Registry Centre led the Consumer-Friendly Resources (CoFI) pilot project. This consumer co-design project aimed to create resources to empower the community to make informed decisions about their healthcare, using complex registry outputs. Funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care, the project was delivered in partnership with the Registry for Senior Australians (ROSA), The Australian Corneal Graft Registry (ACGR), and the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Registry.
Below is a user guide outlining a step-by-step process for other registries looking to co-design consumer resources, a final report detailing the purpose and outcomes of the CoFI Project, and the consumer-friendly resources developed through the project.
