Dr Kerry Ettridge

Dr Kerry Ettridge is Deputy Director, Health Policy Centre at SAHMRI, a Cancer Council Mid-Career Research Fellow and a Visting Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide. Dr Ettridge is a behavioural scientist who has been working across research and policy in preventive health and health outcomes for 15+ years. She has extensive experience designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative studies in collaboration with consumers, clinicians and data custodians. With advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis expertise, her work incorporates behavioural, public health and quality of life approaches to improve well-being (both physical and psychosocial) and reduce risk of chronic disease. Her focus is in producing research evidence that is readily applicable to policy and improving health outcomes.

Dr Ettridge mentors a number of early-career researchers and supervises students at all levels (placements, Honours, Masters, and PhDs). Dr Ettridge has 50+ peer-reviewed publications, 50+ presentations at national and international conferences, and has produced 50+ reports to inform programs, campaigns, policies and strategies for government and non-government organisations.
