Enola Kay

Enola Kay is a member of the Health Policy Centre at SAHMRI, which undertakes programs of research in public health prevention. The centre specialises in obesity prevention, tobacco control, and alcohol consumption, developing evidence-based support for public health policies and interventions to reduce the preventable burden of noncommunicable diseases.

Enola is a behavioural scientist with a background in psychology. Her primary research focus is on behaviour change techniques for encouraging healthier dietary behaviours, especially addressing the domains of sugar-sweetened and non-sugar sweetened beverages. Her doctoral studies focussed on implicit nudging behaviour change techniques for encouraging healthier dietary behaviours, with a particular focus on encouraging healthier beverage choices.
