    Emma is the Senior Manager of the SAHMRI Clinical Trials Platform. She is a registered Physiotherapist with a strong academic background and has developed a vast array of in-depth business and clinical project management skills.

    Emma joined SAHMRI in 2019 as Senior Manager, Registry Science. She was responsible for the oversight and progression of two national Registries within SAHMRI. This included overseeing the project management, data management, analysis and reporting functions of the Australian Orthopaedic Association National Joint Replacement Registry and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation Registry as well as associated research projects and clinical research activities. Emma is currently completing her PhD through Monash University on a program evaluation related to the collection of patient-reported outcome measures data.

    Emma joined the Clinical Trials Platform in 2024 and is responsible for the oversight of the management and expansion of the Clinical Trials Platform within SAHMRI.

    The Clinical Trials Platform aims to accelerate the translation of research into real-world impact by providing exceptional, participant-centred clinical trial services and support. The Clinical Trials Platform team is comprised of Clinical Research Coordinators, Project Managers and Clinical Research Associates providing site and Academic Research Organisation (ARO) services for industry funded and investigator led clinical research.
