The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) is committed to delivering innovative, ground‑breaking research that improves the quality of life for people everywhere.
An exciting opportunity now exists for a proactive and motivated Operations and Business Support Officer to join the Australia and New Zealand Organ Replacement Registries Group (ANZORRG), providing high‑level support to the Executive Co‑Leads and Registry General Manager.
This role is offered as an initial 12‑month contract, with the possibility of extension.
About the role
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering organised, confidential and high‑quality executive and business support to ensure registry‑wide priorities are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating governance meetings, committees and registry events
- Providing high‑level executive support, including confidential administrative support
- Supporting operations, planning and organisational processes aligned with strategic priorities
- Preparing executive‑level communications, reports and meeting documentation
- Managing grants, publications and submissions, including oversight in PURE
- Coordinating travel, conferences and stakeholder engagement activities
- Contributing to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing financial and administrative support, ensuring accurate record‑keeping
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience supporting senior executives in complex environments
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities
- High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
- Experience in administrative, financial or HR-related processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
- Knowledge of medical or research environments (desirable)
