Erin Flynn

Erin has a broad interest in environmental health and infectious diseases. At SAHMRI, Erin coordinates two studies under the Precision Medicine and Aboriginal Health Equity research themes. One study aims to characterise the carriage and transmission of antimicrobial resistance in residential aged care, and the second, will evaluate the impact of a point-of-care test and treat intervention on hepatitis C incidence in high risk populations. Before joining SAHMRI Erin coordinated multi-site and multi-country research projects across Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia. While working at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine she supported research on maternal and perinatal health in low and middle income countries. Erin has a MSc in Public Health and a BA in Nursing.
