Deanna Miller

Deanna is a final year PhD student in the prostate cancer research group. She studied a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) at the University of Adelaide and started her postgraduate project as a Master of Philosophy student in 2019. Deanna converted to a PhD in 2020 and her research focuses on how lipid elongation in prostate cancer influences cell membranes, and cell membrane properties to promote prostate cancer cell survival. Specifically, she invesitgates ELOVL5 lipid elongation and it's influence on the unfolded protein response.
