This role can be remote for candidates based in Melbourne or Sydney. Or in-person at the head office for candidates based in Adelaide.

Be Well Co is a new entity of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). We do this by working with organisations to implement projects with their staff and networks.

Be Well Co is built on six years of work as the SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre, with Be Well Co now focused on furthering our impact and reach nationally.

In this newly created role, reporting to the Co-Leads of Be Well Co, you will lead the development and implementation of the national go to market and sales strategy across the sales lifecvle - from lead identification and generation right through to conversion. The aim of this position is to grow our organisational customer base nationally, to positively impact the mental health and wellbeing of a growing number of people across Australia. The position will work closely with Be Well Co’s Co-Leads, the Be Well Co team, SAHMRI staff and external stakeholders.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Co-Leads of Be Well Co to develop a go to market and sales strategy to grow the Be Well Co customer base nationally.
  • Identify and generate new leads and sales pipeline including initiating contact, presenting/pitching to prospects and follow-up
  • Successfully convert leads to sales
  • Maintain, manage and nurture relationships with prospective customers
  • Adapt marketing collateral and key messaging for proposal preparation and presentations.
  • Document and report on all sales activity across the lifecyle and provide reports to the Co-Leads on status and learnings
  • Work collaboratively to develop strategic pitches and collateral for prospective customers and general marketing campaigns

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:

  • Essential: Sales, Business Development and/or Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, communications, health or related disciplines.
  • B2B sales and client relationship experience, with established contacts preferably in professional or white-collar environments
  • Evidence of your ability to convert leads into sales
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously to agreed outcomes
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences orally, in writing and through the use of technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, possess initiative and exercise a degree of autonomy.

Special Requirements

  • Some out of hours’ work may be required.
  • Interstate and intrastate travel will be required.
  • Compliance with SAHMRI Immunisation Policy and COVID-19 Vaccination Plan.

This role can be full-time or part-time (0.6+ FTE). The role is based at SAHMRI, North Terrace but remote options based in Melbourne or Sydney are also available.
